Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies.

If I had to choose a favorite dessert, it would be (hands down) the chocolate chip cookie. I've made a few variations on the blog, mostly because of their odd ingredients like cream cheese and vanilla pudding, but I have yet to find the perfect recipe.. that is until this past weekend. It is by far the most complex cookie recipe (with two types of flour and 36 hours of dough marination) I have ever attempted but it was well worth the wait and the effort. I dub this my new go-to recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Also, let me note that all of the explicit instructions are necessary - waiting really enhances the cookies as does high quality salt and chocolate. Don't cut corners and I promise you will be in as much love as I was.

  1. These cookies are amazing. I've made them three times already (I found the recipe on Cupcakes and Cashmere a few months ago). The saltiness and the dark chocolate chips and the 36 hour wait time somehow make them into the most delicious chocolate chip cookies ever!
