Tory, You Are Killing Me.

A little over a year ago I swore off of Forever 21. I vowed to stop buying one-time-wear clothing and to focus on pieces that built a wardrobe rather than ones that fell apart after a single cycle in the washing machine. I've upheld my promise (which I feel is very adult of me), however this has only fueled my obsession with J Crew and luxury accessories. I justify it by telling myself they are classic pieces I will have for years- which is completely true (I haven't regretted or fallen out of love with a single thing I've purchased in the past year), but I know deep down I have a problem. Because on a day like today when I get an email saying Tory Burch is having a 25% off sale, I fall off my rocker and go completely nuts.

...because I've been saying I need a weekend tote for quite some time

...and I would definitely wear these loafers for years to come

...and who doesn't need a fun crossbody for summer?!

...maybe a nautical phone case?

... and I keep hearing "pops of color" are the new neutral

... this top would be perfect for my graduation photos.

... but lets be honest, I'm never going to be able to afford this bag but that doesn't mean I can't add it to my shopping cart and dream.

I know, I'm totally certifiable. Shop the sale here with the code WEEKEND for 25% off anything.

  3. I have those loafers in gold AND silver and I've definitely gotten some good use out of them for the past 2 years. Still have lot of life left in them, I say get them! It's worth it!

  4. speaking of.....I'm currently at work wearing some wedge booties from F21 (that I just noticed) that my days wearing them are limited. I cannot stand wasting money. I understand you get what you pay for and they were only $9 bucks Cyber Monday but still. It looks as if the heel is slowly detaching from the shoe. WTH! I always see people get cute shoes from them and never heard complaints. Though I know they won't last years and years, I expect to at least be able to rock them 10 good times and not see them peeling apart on the 5th wear. SMH. SO yeah, sometimes you DO have to just invest in better quality stuff you know you can wear for years. Then divide the amount by the times you think you'd wear it and you will really feel justified. For ex: buying $200 shoes you will wear 3x a week for the next 5 months of winter. that's $13 per wear. And that's just in one year. I need to stop being frugal.
